Annual Writing Bootcamp
Our flagship program, The Writing Class, is hosted annually since 2021 through the generosity of industry experts who volunteer as tutors. The program has become increasingly competitive, with applications exceeding capacity. We thank BellaNaija and Zikoko for their consistent media amplification support.
Internship Programs
To deepen our impact, we launched our internship program in April 2024. Interns are given the opportunity to work on real projects while sharpening their technical and professional skills.
Community & Resources
Program alumni continue to be a part of our virtual community where resources and opportunities are shared. Community members are also targeted for roles within the industry, and ongoing support is provided.
Literacy Intervention in Secondary Schools
Through deep extra-curricular tutoring and resource sharing, we empower students in secondary schools with literacy skills on how to read and write. In 2023, we tutored struggling students in an all-girls secondary school in Ibadan.

About Us
The Writing Class
The Writing Class is a 5-year project empowering the next generation of writers and storytellers. We do this by collaborating with industry experts to teach young people monetizable writing skills in annual virtual bootcamps for FREE.
In the next half a decade, we are creating pathways to facilitate decent work and economic growth by helping young people unlock avenues for employability through writing and literacy projects.
